Udita Tonnee

Udita Tonnee was born in Jamaica, New York, to two Bengali Immigrants. She has been involved in singing and dancing since the age of four, through the Udichi School of Performing Arts, New York. She has learned Bharatnatyam and Kathak, primarily. She graduated from Stuyvesant High School, a specialized high school focused on science and technology. She was part of the school orchestra, playing violin for four years. Udita then graduated from St John’s University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry and a minor in International Studies in 2019. She was Vice President of the Biology Student Organization while in university, while also being an undergraduate tutor for Organic Chemistry. She was certified to become a Emergency Medical Technician in August 2019. In her free time, she likes to read and explore New York, especially all the interesting food places it has to offer.
