Muktadhara Foundation is a New York-based non-profit literary-cultural platform of Bangla speakers of South Asian origin now living in North America. Most of them are from Bangladesh but are also from India and other parts of South Asia. Although relatively young as a community of immigrants, they represent a culture that is centuries old. As an open platform, Muktadhara Foundation strives to bring them together under a common bond and cultural alliance. It is led by an executive board that includes some of the best cultural and literary minds among the Bengali diaspora in North America.
