Ankur’s particular focus areas are books on social development issues, as well as children’s and youth literature. We have particular interest in the promotion of inter-religious dialogue. We also actively promote discussion and reflection about cultural identity, prejudices and social marginalization. We also run various programs like reading clubs for children, discussion sessions on books, independently and often in collaboration with NGO’s and social organization, to transmit the cultural diversity through the medium of literature. We also work on environment, globalization, human rights and gender issues.
We attend book fairs regularly: Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurt, Germany), London Book Fair, Calcutta Book Fair (India), New Delhi Book Fair (India), Ekushe Book Fair (Dhaka, Bangladesh), Dhaka Book Fair (Dhaka, Bangladesh) and often to London Book Fair, American Book Expo, Blogana Children Book fair and Turin Book fair. We are member of Afro-Asian Book Council and International Independent Book Publisher Alliance(Paris).
